DAY 1 : HOME COUNTRY – IVATO AIRPORT ANTANANARIVO MADAGASCAR

DAY 2 : ANTANANARIVO CITY TOUR

We will start this beautiful adventure with a visit to two palaces here in the capital. We will first visit the Queen's Palace and then we will visit the Prime Minister's Palace. During these two visits, we will already immerse ourselves in the ancient history of Madagascar by enriching ourselves with knowledge about the royalty that took place here in Madagascar. We will then take a short stroll to the colorful city market to see the different products sold here such as fruits and vegetables. We will have lunch in town and take you back to your hotel after the visits.

DAY 3 : ANTANANARIVO – PALMARIUM

Departure early today from Antananarivo to Palmarium. Today we will travel to the eastern part of Madagascar. On our way, we will see the changing landscape, we will see local people and you will see their daily lifestyle. When we arrive in Manambato, we will take a boat to cross the Pangalane canal and also to reach our hotel for this evening.

DAY 4 : VISIT OF THE PALMARIUM RESERVE

Today we will visit the Palmarium reserve, rich in flora and fauna. You will see lots of lemurs, birds and plants. In the afternoon, you can visit the fishing village or simply relax.

DAY 5 : PALMARIUM – ANDASIBE

Today we will return to Andasibe. We will once again take the boat to reach Manambato. When we arrive in Andasibe, we will settle you into your hotel. Be ready afterwards for a nighttime visit to the surroundings of the national park to already see animals active at night such as lemurs, frogs and chameleons.

DAY 6 : VISIT OF ANALAMAZAOTRA NATIONAL PARK

Today, enjoy a full day of visit of Analamazaotra National Park. The real draw of this reserve is the rare indri, Madagascar’s largest lemur, whose unforgettable wail can be heard emanating from the misty forest throughout the day, most commonly in the early morning. There are about 60 resident family groups of two to five indris each. In addition to the indris, you may also see woolly lemurs, grey bamboo lemurs, red-fronted lemurs, black-and-white ruffed lemurs and diademed sifakas (one of the largest lemur species). In 2005 the Goodman’s mouse lemur was discovered here and identified as a distinct species. Eleven species of tenrec, the immense and colourful Parson’s chameleon and seven other chameleon species are also found here. Over 100 bird species have been identified in the park, together with 20 species of amphibian. The park is also home to the endemic palm tree Ravenea louvelii, found nowhere else on the island. In the afternoon, we are going to visit the Vakona reserve where you will see other lemurs and other animals as well.

DAY 7 : VISIT OF MANTADIA NATIONAL PARK

Today, we will drive to Mantadia National park. Enjoy a full day of visit of this primary forest, admiring many species of animals and plants. You will also see waterfalls in this amazing place. After the visit we will drive you to your hotel for overnight.

DAY 8 : ANDASIBE – ANTSIRABE

Today, we will continue our journey south, towards Antsirabe. We will pass through Antananarivo, the capital, which is on our way. We will then visit pot manufacturing workshops, which is also on our way to Antsirabe. We will arrive late in the evening in Antsirabe and we will settle you directly into your hotel upon arrival.

DAY 9 : CITY TOUR IN ANTSIRABE (VISIT OF TRITRIVA LAKE AND ANDRAIKIBA LAKE)

Today, enjoy a visit to two lakes that make the city of Antsirabe special. Before, we will visit accessories shops made with zebu horns. We will then head towards Lake Andraikiba and then towards Lake Tritriva, a greenish blue lake. The lakes, both of volcanic origin, offer a unique landscape and have magnificent stories.

DAY 10 : ANTSIRABE – MORONDAVA

Today we will travel from Antsirabe to Morondava where the baobabs are located, one of the main tourist attractions in Madagascar. On our way, you will enjoy the desert landscape of this part of Madagascar. We are going to visit some villages and some schools. You will already see some baobabs as you enter the town of Morondava.

DAY 11 : MORONDAVA – KIRINDY – BEKOPAKA

Today we will get up early to see the sunrise at the baobab alley. We will then continue our route passing through the Kirindy forest. We are going to make a quick visit to this reserve to see several species of lemurs, and the famous fosa and see many other species of birds. After, we will continue our journey towards Bekopaka, the village closest to the Tsingy de Bemaraha national park, crossing two rivers by ferry. We will check you into your hotel upon arrival.

DAY 12 : VISIT OF TSINGY DE BEMARAHA NATIONAL PARK

Today, enjoy a full day visiting Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. This park is recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site and it is the most protected attraction here in Madagascar. Here we will see the cathedral, the viewpoint and the hanging bridge. We can meet animals living in this place, such as the sifaka lemur, species of birds and luckily the fosa.

DAY 13 : BEKOPAKA – MORONDAVA

Today we will return to Morondava. On the road, you will admire the beauty of nature a second time. We will pass by the sacred baobab and the lovers' baobab, a place where lovers renew their vows. We will pass by the alley of the baobabs, the most wonderful place in Madagascar to admire the sunset. We will stop for a few moments here so that you can take some photos to remember the beauty of this moment.

DAY 14 : MORONDAVA – BELO SUR MER

Today, we will continue this adventure by heading towards Belo sur Mer. You will go through some deserts areas where the white sand and the remnants of salt create a new and fascinating landscape.

DAY 15 : BELO SUR MER – MOROMBE

We leave early today, immediately after your breakfast, to continue towards Morombe, a fishing village on the southwest coast of Atsimo Andrefana. This will be the last challenge to overcome before arriving at beautiful Salary Bay

DAY 16 : MOROMBE – SALARY

After your breakfast, we will drive towards Salary. On the way, you will enjoy driving in the middle of the mangrove forests and sometimes driving right next to the sea which makes this day one of the highlights of this adventure.

DAY 17 : SALARY BAY BEACH LEISURE

Today, you are going to have a full day to explore and relax at Salary Bay beach. During your stay, you can do some marine activities like snorkeling, scuba diving etc.

DAY 18 : SALARY – IFATY

We depart late morning for Ifaty, a seaside resort near the lagoon. We will arrive in the afternoon and you will have leisure time in the evening.

DAY 19 : IFATY – RANOHIRA

Today, we are going to continue our adventure towards Ranohira : the gateway of Isalo National Park. We will visit the arboretum of Antsokay where you will see a collection of more than 900 species of plants from southwest Madagascar, 90% of which are endemic to the region and 80% have medicinal properties but you will also see animals like lemurs, butterflies, turtles, etc. Today, we will also visit Zombitse National Park which is renowned for its richness in rare bird species, endemic to Madagascar and/or the area. It also has 8 species of lemurs, some of which are almost threatened. On the way, we will pass through the Mahafaly tombs which are the highlights of this journey.

DAY 20 : VISIT OF ISALO NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy this day today by visiting Isalo National Park. You will see the famous natural swimming pool and an extraordinary landscape characterized by the exceptional formation of rocks. Plan a picnic lunch in the park. You might encounter lemurs and chameleons during the visit.

DAY 21 : RANOHIRA – RANOMAFANA

Today we will continue our journey towards Ranomafana. Radical change of scenery, now leaving the landscape of rocks entering the landscape of the highlands with these well-superimposed rice fields. We will also start to see a little green on the landscape as we get closer to Ranomafana. Get ready to make a little nighttime visit around the park to see the frogs, chameleons, lemurs and other animals that are active at night.

Let's continue our journey heading further north, towards the town of Antsirabe. Today we will move on to the small town of Ambositra which is famous for its crafts, renowned for marquetry and wooden sculpture. We will visit a few shops before continuing our journey to Antsirabe: our final destination of the day.

DAY 24 : ANTSIRABE – ANTANANARIVO

After your breakfast, we will see shops that sell items made with zebu horns, here in Antsirabe, by rickshaw if you are interested. We will then head towards the capital, Antananarivo, still on the RN7. We will have lunch in a restaurant famous for its duck liver, before arriving in the capital.

DAY 25 : ANTANANARIVO – IVATO AIRPORT – HOME COUNTRY

DAY 3 : EXCURSION AT NOSY IRANJA

Today we will spend our day in Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely. Many macaco lemurs populate Nosy Komba as Nosy Komba means lemur island, but we will also see many other animals. These primates live in mixed groups led by females. Tanikely appeals above all to fans of scuba diving or snorkeling. You can observe dolphins, turtles, numerous fish, corals, sponges, shells and many other underwater species.

DAY 5 : DAY AT LOKOBE RESERVE

Today we are going to go to the Lokobe reserve. We will first pass through a village and then cross the sea by canoe to finally arrive at the Lokobe reserve. DAY 2 : ANTANANARIVO - NOSY BE

Today, depending on the time of your domestic flight, we will see if we have time to visit the Queen's Palace to learn a little about the history of the Madagascar monarchy and then take a short walk to the colorful market of the city. We will then transfer you to the airport for your flight to Nosy Be. When you arrive, we will settle you into your hotel and we will see if it is not yet very late for a visit to the town of Nosy Be or you can also just relax at the beach.

DAY 3 : NOSY BE – ANKARANA

Today we will travel from Nosy Be to Ankarana, the closest village to Ankarana National Park. During this trip, we will see cocoa plantations, which is used by the Malagasy people to make chocolate. But Madagascar is also an exporter of cocoa in the world. We will meet Malagasy children on the road, who will be happy to receive candy and during this day we will see the daily lifestyle of the local population. We will check you into your hotel as soon as we arrive.

DAY 4 : ANKARANA NATIONAL PARK

Today we will spend our day at Ankarana National Park. Our visit will consist of a visit to the Andrafiabe Cave with its pretty rock formations, concretions and the Cathedral Cave. The latter is very spectacular because part of the ceiling is open onto a large hole from which beautiful rays of sun to illuminate the center of the cave. We can also see the Buttes de Chaumont canyon which connects the two caves. A magnificent steep valley. Bats of different sizes take up residence there. On the trail to the cave you will encounter the lemurs Eulemur fulvus sanfordi, Eulemur coronatus. But also the Crested Coa and Flycatcher birds as well as the famous reptile Uroplatus ebenaui. The vegetation of the dry forest and the canyon is composed essentially of Dyospiros, Dalbergia, Hildegardia, Moraceae families (Ficus), families of Burseraceae (Canarium) and families of Rutaceae (Zanthoxylon).

DAY 5 : ANKARANA - TSINGY ROUGE - AMBER MOUNTAIN

We will continue our journey, today we will continue towards the Amber Mountain. On our journey, we will pass by Tsingy Rouge. Today we will have a full day to visit the Montagne d'Ambre National Park. In addition to this, during our visit to this forest, you will also see some waterfalls. We will take you back to your hotel after the tour, so you can rest for the next day.

DAY 7 : AMBER MOUNTAIN – DIEGO SUAREZ

Let's continue this adventure by heading to the town of Diego Suarez which is also called the town of Antsiranana. The barren landscape we saw will change completely when we arrive. DAY 8 : VISIT OF THE 3 BAYS OF DIEGO SUAREZ

We will visit the three bays around Diego Surez. We reach the bay of Sakalava, then the bay of Pigeons, and finally the bay of Dunes, before ending with Orangea beach and the village of Ramena. The sandy track winds between forests of achypodiums and xerophilous species. It will be a day where you could swim and enjoy magnificent landscapes.

DAY 9 : DAY AT MER D'ÉMERAUDE

Today we are going to spend our day at Diego Suarez's Emerald Sea. The Emerald Sea is a lagoon in Madagascar located at the entrance to Diego-Suarez Bay, in the far north of the country. A site preserved from tourism, certain deserted islets are accessible by boarding fishing boats from the village of Ramena. It is a vast lagoon characterized by a turquoise hue due to its shallow water depth combined with sandy bottoms and is separated from the Indian Ocean by a coral reef as well as a string of islets.

DAY 10 : MONTAGNE DES FRANÇAIS

After our breakfast, we will head towards the Montagne des Francais. Located only 9 km from the town of Antsiranana, the Montagne des Francais still remains a little-known site for its great riches and potential. This site attempts to show to what extent this historic site is full of mystery and plays a role important on the history of human colonization in Madagascar, the evolution of biodiversity in this northern region of Madagascar, not to mention biological diversity and the current ecological landscape. After our tour, we will take you back to your hotel.

DAY 5 : ANDASIBE - PALMARIUM

Today, we will continue our journey towards the Palmarium reserve on national road 2. When we are in Manambato, we will take a boat to travel on the Pangalanes canal to the reserve. Tonight we are going to see the famous AYE AYE from Madagascar.

DAY 6 : VISIT OF THE PALMARIUM RESERVE

Today we will visit the Palmarium reserve, rich in flora and fauna. You will see lots of lemurs, birds and plants. In the afternoon, you can visit the fishing village or simply relax.

DAY 7 : PALMARIUM - MAHAMBO

After your breakfast we are going to sail on the pangalanes channel to reach Toamasina, the second largest city of Madagascar and the city where we will have lunch this day. On the way you are going enjoy seeing forest around you and fish traps and villages of Betsimisaraka tribe.

DAY 8 : MAHAMBO - SAINTE MARIE

After breakfast we are going to board to a boat sailing on to Sainte-Marie. The duration of our trip on the sea would be around 04 hours. Late arrival in Sainte-Marie this afternoon you can decide to explore the town of Sainte-Marie or simply relax in your hotel.

DAY 9-DAY 10: SAINTE MARIE

You will have a whole day to visit the town of Sainte Marie. You can see whales if you arrive in the season when they appear. Or you can also go to the Iles aux Nattes to enjoy this beautiful day.

Today, depending on the time of your flight, we will take you to the airport. When you arrive, we will take you to your hotel to settle in. If we still have time, we will visit historic places here in Antananarivo like the Queen's Palace.

Today, depending on the time of your international flight, we will visit the handicraft market where you can buy some souvenirs to take home. We will take you to Ivato International Airport 2 hours before your departure.

DAY 1 : HOME COUNTRY - ANTANANARIVO MADAGASCAR

We are happy to welcome you at Ivato International Airport upon your arrival. One of our team will welcome you and take you to your hotel to settle in. On the way, we will give you a little summary of how our adventure with you will go and we will answer any questions you may have.

DAY 2 : ANTANANARIVO - ANTSIRABE

Today, we will start with a visit to the Queen's Palace to enrich you with the stories of the kingdoms of Madagascar. We will then take a short walk to see the colorful city market. Then we will head south and have lunch in a restaurant specializing in delicious duck liver. We will then go to Ambatolampy to see the making of pots used by the Malagasy people. We will arrive late in the evening in Antsirabe.

DAY 3 : CITY TOUR IN ANTSIRABE (VISIT OF TRITRIVA LAKE AND ANDRAIKIBA LAKE)

Today, enjoy a visit to two lakes that make the city of Antsirabe special. Before, we will visit accessories shops made with zebu horns. We will then head towards Lake Andraikiba and then towards Lake Tritriva, a greenish blue lake. The lakes, both of volcanic origin, offer a unique landscape and have magnificent stories.

DAY 4 : ANTSIRABE - MIANDRIVAZO

Today after your breakfast, we will continue our journey, heading now to the South West part of Madagascar. You will enjoy a trip meeting local people, visiting some villages and schools but you can also just enjoy your trip admiring the beautiful desert landscape of this part of Madagascar.

DAY 5 : MIANDRIVAZO - KIRINDY (STOP AT BAOBAB ALLEY)

We will continue our journey today towards the Kirindy reserve. On the road, we will pass by the baobab alley, one of the most visited attractions in Madagascar. We will stop for a few minutes here to take photos and admire these large trees over 800 years old. We will then continue our journey and when we arrive we will make a night visit to the Kirindy reserve to see several species of nocturnal lemurs, sleeping birds and some geckos.

DAY 6 : KIRINDY - BEKOPAKA

Today morning, we will visit the Kirindy reserve to see several species of lemurs, and the famous fosa and see many other species of birds. After, we will continue our journey towards Bekopaka, the village closest to the Tsingy de Bemaraha national park, crossing two rivers by ferry. We will check you into your hotel upon arrival.

DAY 7 : VISIT OF TSINGY DE BEMARAHA NATIONAL PARK

Today, enjoy a full day visiting Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. This park is recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site and it is the most protected attraction here in Madagascar. Here we will see the cathedral, the viewpoint and the hanging bridge. We can meet animals living in this place, such as the sifaka lemur, species of birds and luckily the fosa.

DAY 8 : VISIT OF THE LITTLE TSINGY WITH THE MANAMBOLO RIVER

Today we are going to visit the small section of Tsingy. After, we will venture on the Manambolo river to see the tombs of Vazimba, the supposed ancestors of the Malagasy people. We will see some animals and fascinating rock formations.

DAY 9 : BEKOPAKA - MORONDAVA (STOP AT BAOBAB ALLEY FOR SUNSET)

Today we will return to Morondava. On the road, you will admire the beauty of nature a second time. We will pass by the sacred baobab and the lovers' baobab, a place where lovers renew their vows. We will pass by the alley of the baobabs, the most wonderful place in Madagascar to admire the sunset. We will stop for a few moments here so that you can take some photos to remember the beauty of this moment.

DAY 10 : MORONDAVA - ANTANANARIVO (BY FLIGHT)

Today, you will take a domestic flight, your return to the capital. If we still have time before your departure, we will go canoeing to look at the mangroves and afterwards we will visit Betania, a fishing village. When you arrive in Antananarivo, one of our team will welcome you and take you to your hotel.
